Day 28

Cooperate

Hello everyone, or good evening?

Recently, I see the words: “SDGs” and “Sustainable”, on TV. SDGs are closely related to what I want to achieve. I want to make this world kinder, so I started studying the SDGs and CSR system to understand this world better.

Ok, in this blog, I will write about my experience at the last school festival in my Japanese high school. I’ve learned so much from it. So I would love to share it with you.

【 All my heart into one thing 】

On the day of the school festival.

We sang so hard that all our effort went on the stage. Everyone in the club was singing passionately, but I am sure that I was embarrassingly the most passionate one on the stage...

I sang the Cyndi Lauper part of “We are the world”. I tried to imitate her so that I hold up the microphone and sang with a high tone voice and loudly…

I noticed the crowd went buzzed when I started singing...

Those people who didn’t even look at the stage suddenly started looking at us, and they seemed to give us a blank look as they were surprised.

I still remember that view so clearly. It was the most embarrassing moment of my life.

However, I won’t regret what I perform on that day.

Because some teachers told me that I did so well, and some of my classmates told me they were amazed by my singing even though it wasn’t great like a real singer sings.

I was surprised at those reactions from them as they didn’t make me look a fool.

I found it very kind of them as they didn’t speak ill of me after all. I felt relieved a bit that it’s no longer like a time in middle school.

I learned that…

no matter how embarrassing it is, how your pride falls down, and how much people make laugh at you, it is very important to achieve without reluctance and all your heart.

After I graduated from high school, I heard that there were many students who were interested to join the club. Even there were people who entered the school to join the club as well.

I thought it is amazing how what I and my club team achieved impacted in real.

Ok, that’s all for today!

In the next blog, I will try to recall how I decided to go to the UK for university while I was in Japanese high school.

Thank you for reading until the end every time!

Hope you have a good day!
